Temperature sensor - measures temperature changes
Thermocouples generate a voltage signal in response to temperature changes, while RTDs and thermistors measure temperature changes by detecting changes in their electrical resistance. Infrared sensors use the emission of electromagnetic radiation from an object to measure its temperature.
